Outcomes over hours
Stronger preparation leads to stronger performance and more options. What it does not do is guarantee a specific score or an admissions decision, and we will not pretend otherwise.
About
Founder and instructor.
Math Test Prep exists because families are not buying an hour of algebra. They are buying a stronger transcript, a better test score, and the options that follow.
Cory is a former licensed math teacher with two years in the classroom and more than five years tutoring one-on-one. He holds degrees from Duke University and Carnegie Mellon University, and has spent his career applying mathematics professionally across technology, data, and analytics.
The practice stays deliberately narrow: the math and quantitative sections of major exams, plus coursework support for grades 7 through 12. Calculus and college-level courses are outside that focus. See what we cover and what it costs.
Stronger preparation leads to stronger performance and more options. What it does not do is guarantee a specific score or an admissions decision, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Test preparation uses official practice tests and published question banks. Coursework follows the teacher’s curriculum, supported by resources like Khan Academy. The skill worth paying for is knowing which problems a student needs and why the same question keeps costing points, not inventing new ones.
AI is a genuinely good study tool when it returns the right answer and the student is motivated enough to keep working and skeptical enough to verify it. The catch is that AI states wrong math as confidently as right math. Instruction earns its cost when someone needs to be accountable for the plan and able to catch the error.
